The present invention relates to a metal oxidation state detection apparatus including: a weight measuring section 201 for measuring the weight of a measurement target; a vibration frequency operation section 204 for arithmetically operating a frequency component which is most emphasized in an output signal of the weight measuring section 201; a weight operation section 205 for arithmetically operating the weight of a metal that is a part of or all of the measurement target by using data of the frequency component output from the vibration frequency operation section 204 and data of a spring constant of the weight measuring section 201; and an oxidation state identifying section 206 for identifying the oxidation state of the metal by using data of the weight of the metal output from the weight operation section 205.
