To provide a batten-seam metal-plate roofing structure which hardly forms an ice bar by forming a melted snow water passage and rapidly discharging melted snow water, because accumulated snow easily slips down from a batten seam, and which can simplify the repair of an existing batten-seam metal-plate roof.
A metal plate A is formed through the following steps: an acute-angle corner 2 is formed by bending raised pieces 3 at both the ends of a board cover 1 of a ditch; an upgrade covering piece 4 is arranged by being bent outward from an upper end of the raised piece 3; a vertical piece 5 is erected at the upper end of each of the covering pieces 4; and short seam-bent pieces 5a perpendicularly bent inward, and long seam-bent pieces 5b perpendicularly bent outward are arranged in the vertical pieces 5, respectively. Additionally, the batten-seam metal-plate roofing structure B is formed through the following steps: a hat-shaped clip body 10a is fitted and inserted between both the metal plates A; a seam-bent piece 10c, which perpendicularly overhangs from a vertical piece 10b erected on the top of the clip body 10a, is sandwiched between an upside and a downside by means of the seam-bent pieces 5a and 5b; and the seam-bent piece 5b is wound around the seam-bent piece 10c of the clip 10 and the seam-bent piece 5a, so that they can be seam bending-joined by means of a seam joint.
