Title:
METAL PLATE HAVING RUGGED PATTERN ON SURFACE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING METAL PLATE MOLDING
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2003136159
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To solve the problem that when a rugged pattern is imparted to the surfaces of a metal plate and a metal plate molding, a specific molding die or tool is required, a protrusion is retained on the surface of the plate by a method for reinforcing the plate of forming a bead or the protrusion, and hence a flatness and a beauty sense are not good.

When the protrusion is, for example, formed on the surface of the metal plate by spherical head punch overhanging and then the protrusion is compressed by upper and lower flattening tools 2 and 3, the protrusion is buckled so that multiple circular ring patterns appear on the surface of the plate. The rugged pattern is formed on the surface of the plate without using the specific mold or the tool by utilizing this phenomenon. The metal plate is reinforced by utilizing the formed rugged part.
