Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform positioning of a metal plate at high speed and with high response.
SOLUTION: A device is constituted such that the y axis stators 13L, 13R of y axis linear motors 11L, 11R are provided on a frame 3 extending in the direction of the y axis adjacent to the y axis guide, that y axis needles 15L, 15R moving in the y axis direction are guided and supported on the y axis guide, that an x axis moving base 37 extending in the x axis direction is provided on the y axis needles 15L, 15R, that the x axis stator 43 of an x axis linear motor 41 is provided on the x axis moving base 37 extending in the x axis direction adjacent to the x axis guide 39, that the plural x axis needles 45L, 45R movable in the x axis direction are guided and supported respectively on the x axis guide, and that work clampers 47L, 47R are provided on each of the x axis needles 45L, 45R.
