Abstract:
To improve shape stability when bending a metallic plate into a U-shape, in machining the metallic plate into a circular ring shape by UO molding, to enhance circularity of a metallic pipe to be molded as much as possible.SOLUTION: A metallic plate machining device comprises: a second lower mold 23 which is fixed onto a base 21 and has a second recessed part 24 recessed downward, and on which a metallic plate is placed; and a second upper mold 25 which is fixed to a lifting base 22, which has a second punch 30 that presses the metallic plate placed on the second lower mold 23 toward the second recessed part 24. The second punch 30 has: a lower pressing part 31b that presses the metallic plate placed on the second lower mold 23 downward by downward motion of the lifting base 22; and lower side pressing part 32 that presses the metallic plate positioned in the second recessed part 24 toward side wall portions 24b of the second recessed part 24, with the lower pressing part 31b and the second recessed part 24 holding the metallic plate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
