Abstract:
To provide a metal powder suitable for additive manufacturing (particularly, powder directed energy deposition: P-DED), wherein the metal powder can secure powder flowability required for P-DED while controlling a volume-based 50% diameter under 60 μm, and a method for producing the same.SOLUTION: A metal powder according to the present invention comprises a first powder group with a particle size range of 38 μm or more and less than 106 μm and an average sphericity of 0.97 or more, and a second powder group with a particle size range of 10 μm or more and less than 53 μm and an average sphericity of 0.93 or more. The mass mixing ratio of "the first powder group: the second powder group" ranges from "15:85" to "85:15".SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
