Abstract:
To provide a high-fluidity metal powder material hardly influenced by organic impurities, and a production method of such the metal powder material.SOLUTION: A metal powder material is composed of particles 1 having an inner region 2 made of metal and having an average particle diameter of 500 nm or more and a coating layer 3 of a thickness of 15 nm or more that covers the surface of the inner region 2 and is made of an inorganic metal compound having insulation properties. In a production method of the metal powder material, performed is a step for preparing raw material metal particles 10 by an atomizing method, a step for degranulating the raw material metal particles 10 to get rid of aggregation of the raw material metal particles 10, and a step for forming the coating layer 3 of a thickness of 15 nm or more made of the inorganic metal compound having insulation properties on the surface layer of the degranulated metal particles 11 in that order.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
