Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide inert metal powder useful for a screen printing paste, which is formed as the metal powder in the forms of micro-crystalline, spherical and dense particles having a specific average particle diameter and particle spectrum.

CONSTITUTION: A metal powder and two-component and three-components metallic alloy powder in the forms of spherical and dense particles which have an average diameter of 0.1-5 μm and particle spectrum of 0.01-25 μm are prepared. The powder is formed by using a noble metal or two- or three- components noble metal alloy. Thereby, inert metal powders each having a specific surface area which is sufficiently small to suppress the catalytic effect are provided.
