Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a metal processing oil composition capable of suppressing metal corrosion and demulsification of oil in water type emulsion of a metal processing oil.
CONSTITUTION: This metal processing oil composition contains (a) 0.01-5wt.% of a compound having mercaptoimidazole groups or mercaptothiazole groups, (b) 1-10wt.% alkanolamine, (c) 2-30wt.% fatty acid and (d) 55-96.99wt.% one or more oils selected from a mineral oil, an oil and fat and a synthetic oil; or 0.01-5wt % component (a), 1-10wt.% component (b), 2-30wt.% component (c), 25-95.99wt.% component (d) and (e) 1-30wt.% nonionic surfactant; or 0.01-5wt.% component (a), 2-30wt.% component (c), 35-96.99wt.% component (d) and 1-30wt.% component (e).
