Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately and speedily form a cutout without damaging a conduction piping, and easily remove a cut metal ring by adjusting an angle of a fixation base of a metal ring cutting device before fixation, and regulating a diametral shift position of a cutter by means of a diamond dressor.
SOLUTION: A fixation base 31 is fixed to a conduction piping 11 after an angle state of the fixation base 31 is adjusted. A movable base 32 is fixed in its position, and then moved leftward. A cutter 36 approaches a diamond dressor 54 and is brought into a slight contact therewith. In such a state, a diametral fixation screw 52 is fastened for fixing the movable base 32. An axially shifting handle 37 is operated for shifting a cutter base 33 downward. A metal ring 12 is cut by the cutter 36 from an outer surface of the conduction piping 11 to a minute distance (c). Afterward, the conduction piping 11 is strongly sandwiched by a metal ring splitting tool. A cutting blade is strongly inserted into a cutout formed on the metal ring 12 for breakage.
