Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prepare a metal-supporting porous fluorofiber sheet exhibiting excellent water-repellency and having small specific gravity, uniform pore diameter, excellent heat-resistance and chemical resistance and easily adjustable electrical properties and chemical properties and to provide a production process therefor.
CONSTITUTION: This metal-supporting porous fluorofiber sheet is produced by forming a sheet of polytetrafluoroethylene fiber by wet paper-making process, sintering the sheet and supporting a metal on the obtained porous sheet. This invention also relates to a process for the production of the fluorofiber sheet.
