PURPOSE: In a wire cutter, to improve the sharpness while to prevent the deterioration of sharpness, rust and electric shock, by providing a pair of edges comprising the edge section having edge made of sintered zirconia, handle section and grip section pivotably.
CONSTITUTION: An edge body 2 constructed similarly with another edge body 1 having edge section 1A made of sintered zirconia, handle section IC and grip section 1D is pivoted by a stopper 6 such that the edge sections 1A, 2A are openable/closable at the stopper 6 while the edges 1E, 2E will slide each other. While the edge section 1A and the handle section 1C are pivoted openably/ closably and mountably/dismountably by a stopper and the edge section 2A and the handle section 2C are pivoted by a stopper 5. Consequently when opening the grips 1D, 2D in the arrow direction A, the tips of the handle sections 1C, 2C will move to the direction B while the edge sections 1A, 2A will move in the direction C. Upon closing of the grips 1D, 2D, the edge sections 1A, 2A will close. The grips 1D, 2D are covered with rubbers 1B, 2B. Consequently the sharpness is improved and the electric shock can be prevented.
