Abstract:
To provide a method and a device for removing scale from a metal wire, which enable the scale to be removed from the entire perimeter of the metal wire in consideration of wire torsion caused by the metal wire.SOLUTION: In a method for removing scale from a metal wire, an abrasive grain liquid is projected from a plurality of blast guns that are arranged in a traveling direction, while the twisted metal wire is run, and the scale on a surface of metal wiring is removed by a wet blast. The plurality of blast guns are arranged to satisfy prescribed blast gun arrangement conditions.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
