Abstract:
PURPOSE: To increase the speed of recovery from elastic deformation by forming a core part arrayed with small spaces partitioned by ribs and an inside pipe in the ball hitting part in a bat body and decreasing the elastic deformation of the bat at the time of impact by the presence of such core part, as the result to increase the speed of the hit ball.
CONSTITUTION: The inside pipe 9 concentrical with the bat body 1 and the radial ribs 10 connecting the outer peripheral surface of the inside pipe 9 and the inside wall surface of the ball hitting part 4 are provided in the ball hitting part 4 of the hollow bat body 1.
