Abstract:

PURPOSE: To aim at the prolongation of the life of a belt by laying an endless circular tooth-formed hoop formed like a tooth at a constant pitch continuously on the inner circumference of a core hoop made by the piles of endless metallic flexible thin rings and nipping them every pitch from outside by an application member having an application hole for fitting tooth formed one.

CONSTITUTION: A core hoop 2 is formed by piling endless metallic flexible thin rings 2. An endless circular tooth-like hoop 5 at which the form of a tooth is formed at a constant pitch is piled on the inner circumference of the core hoop 2. A holding body 6 formed by flexible material flat and cylindrically at which an application hole for fitting the form of the tooth 3 at the central portion are arranged every one pitch to hold the core hoop 2 and the tooth-like hoop 5 to be tightly wound by a bent edge 8. Under this construction, stress load of the respective portion of the belt is distributed so that the life of the belt is lengthened.
