Title:
METALLIC FLUX CORED WIRE FOR ARC WELDING
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2001321980
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a metallic flux cored wire(FCW) for arc welding capable of reducing a generating spatter in welding by forward welding and excellent in welding workability.

A metallic FCW1 for arc welding has a flux rate of 25-45 mass% and a lap part 4 where both end parts in a band plate width direction overlap at the cross section vertical to the longitudinal direction of FCW1, when a band plate width direction end part is defined as a point A and an intersecting point between the longest line segment among segments reaching an outer surface of an outer skin 2 of opposite side through flux and the outer surface is defined as a point B, the point, on which an extension line of a line segment BC passing the point B and in contact with a width direction end part of the band plate of inside of the lap part 4 is intersected with the outer surface of the band plate outside the lap part 4, is defined as a point D and a length of the line segment connecting the point A and the point D is defined as RL, a ratio Rr of RL to an average diameter Wd of FCW1(RL/Wd×100%) is 3-30%.
