Abstract:
To provide a metallic glass having high corrosion resistance by a means other than the addition of elements.
The corrosion resistance of a Zr-based metallic glass can be made high by a means other than the addition of elements by allowing the same to have a composition expressed by formula (1), Zr36-n-mNi64+nAlm (wherein, -5n5 and 0m5) and particularly, in the case n=0 and m=0, higher corrosion resistance can be exhibited. Then, by subjecting this metallic glass to molding or the like, a metallic member having high corrosion resistance can be obtained.
