Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten time required to manufacture a metallic member.SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing a metallic member 10 according to the present invention includes: a powder contact step of contacting metallic powder 32 with a metallic cylindrical element 12; and a welding step of melting a part of the cylindrical element 12 and a part of the metallic powder 32 to generate a molten pool by radiating a high energy beam 22 toward the cylindrical element 12 and the metallic powder 32 in a state in which the metallic powder 32 contacts the cylindrical element 12, and solidifying this molten pool to form convex molten metal 14 on the cylindrical element 12, thereby obtaining the metallic member 10.
