The metallic mold is formed of a cast enable metal to a metallic mold material body 13 and has the vents 10 reaching to the outer surface of the metallic mold from the inner surface at the mold space side in the machining state in the metallic mold, and the vents are formed of prescribed dimensional holes or fine holes of porous body arranged in the holes, and the portion for forming the inner peripheral surface of the hole is formed of a prescribed thickness of metal layer 14 melt-joined with the metal of the metallic mold body. The porous body is made of a sintered body sintering one or plural kinds among metal powder, metallic fiber ceramic powder and ceramic fiber and this sintered body and the metallic layer at the position forming the inner peripheral surface of the hole are combined with the sintering. This manufacturing method is executed, with which a mold for casting the metallic mold arranging the porous body having the inner holes corresponding to the vents at the position arranging the vents or the fine holes for forming the vents in the inner holes and disposing a tubular metallic member having the thickness melt-joining the outer peripheral surface with the molten metal by casting the molten metal, is prepared and the molten metal for forming the metallic mold material body is cast into this mold.
