Abstract:
To provide a metallic nonwoven fabric improved in corrosion resistance without impairing its pressure loss performance so as to be widely usable in various kinds of filters including automotive exhaust gas filters and the gas filters for manufacturing semiconductors.
This metallic nonwoven fabric is so designed that the fiber diameter (a) on the surface part on the gas inflow side thereof and the fiber diameter (b) at the center of the thickness direction thereof meet the relationship: (a)≥1.5×(b), wherein the fiber diameter (a) is 15-60 μm.
