Title:
METALLIC PATTERN DEVICE FOR CASTING
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6182948
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To make a metallic pattern device as small and simple as possible and to provide the metallic pattern device for casting which is advantageous in maintenance as well by constituting the device in such a manner that patterns are clamped and opened simply by moving upward the supporting plate for an upper pattern and that the ejector pins provided to the lower pattern are actuated.

CONSTITUTION: The top ends of the inclined pins 6 of the upper pattern 2 are inserted into the inclined holes 7 of the respective side patterns 3 on a plate 5 in the prescribed up position of the supporting plate 5. The pins 6 are successively deeply inserted into the holes 7 by the succeeding rise of the plate 5 and the patterns 3 are slid inward in the transverse direction. The plate 5 is risen to the prescribed clamping position to clamp the lower pattern 1 and the upper pattern 2 and the patterns 3, 3 to each other. A molten metal is poured into the cavity formed of these patterns and a product W is cast. The plate 5 is then lowered and while the pins 6 are slid outward in the transverse direction, the pins are removed from the holes 7. The pattern 1, the pattern 2 and the patterns 3, 3 are opened from each other and the bottom ends of the ejector pins 4 are pressed via a collar plate 13 to the plate 9 in the prescribed down position to prevent the additional descending of the pins 4. The top ends of the pins 4 lift and eject the product W to the top surface of the pattern 1.
