Abstract:
To provide a metallic porous body excellent in an electrolytic resistance and a corrosion resistance suitable to a battery, such as lithium-ion battery, a capacitor and a power collection body for a fuel cell.
The metallic porous body is composed of an alloy containing at least a nickel and a tin. Such metallic porous body is obtained with a method for manufacturing the metallic porous body, composed of the alloy containing at least the nickel and the tin, the method having a step of coating the nickel porous body with a metal containing the tin at least, and a step of diffusing the tin into the nickel porous body by performing a heat-treatment following the former step.
