Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the title metallic vapor laser system capable of increasing and stabilizing the laser output.
CONSTITUTION: The title metallic vapor laser system equipped with the first exciting power supply 100 feeding gas to a discharge tube 200 so as to cause pulse discharge in the tube 200 for exciting or ionizing the gas is furthermore equipped with the second power supply 400 containing additive gas for discharge control excluding the buffer gas and metallic vapor gas as well as pulse- impressing the discharge tube 200 with an auxiliary voltage for the quiescent term of the pulse discharge.
