PURPOSE: To provide the titled powder which has excellent kneadability with resins and moldability and can impart high electrical conductivity without mixing two or more fillers, consisting of nickel-metallized carbon powder.
CONSTITUTION: Nickel-metallized carbon powder (e.g. acetylene black) having a nickel content of 5W75wt%. The metallized carbon powder has good kneadability with resins and moldability and can impart high electrical conductivity without using conventional two or more fillers of carbon black and at least one metallic filler. 80W150pts.wt. said filler is blended with 100pts.wt. thermoplastic resin. Even when said filler is used in a quantity smaller than that of conventional filler, it can give a volume resistance of 1.0×10°Ω which is sufficient to give an EMI shield effect. Even when the quantity of the filler is 150pts.wt., the resin compsn. is superior in moldability to that contg. conventional filler.
