Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately display actual outside air temperature.
SOLUTION: The meter display device 13 of a motorcycle 1 which can display the outside air temperature obtained by an outside air temperature detecting means 81, has an outside air temperature capturing means 910 which captures data of the air temperature obtained by the air temperature detecting means 81, a means for detecting the speed of motorcycle 88 which detects the speed of the motorcycle, and a means 911 for rewriting data of the air temperature which rewrites displayed temperature data of the temperature of air. At less than a prescribed speed of the motorcycle, the rewriting process of the displayed temperature data is made rapid when new displayed temperature data is smaller than earlier displayed temperature data, and the rewriting process of the displayed temperature data is not carried out and kept in a stand-by condition if the new displayed temperature data is higher than the earlier displayed temperature data. At not less than the prescribed speed of the motorcycle, the rewriting process of the displayed temperature data is made rapid in the case the new displayed temperature data is lower than the earlier temperature data, and the rewriting process of the displayed temperature data is made slow in the case the new displayed temperature data is higher than the earlier displayed temperature data.
