PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an instrument capable of giving further three-dimensional impression.SOLUTION: An instrument 1 for a vehicle includes: a dial 14 that has a spiral-shaped inclined dial 14a in which a scale 16 is arranged in a circular shape and which has a depth with respect to a viewer, and a horizontal dial 14b that supports the inclined dial 14a; a pointer 18 that can be rotated with a pointer shaft 22 as a center and points the scale 16; and a drive mechanism 20 that operates at least a pointer tip side along the spiral-shaped inclined dial 14a by rotating the pointer 18 and moving at least the pointer tip side to a depth direction A2.
