PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an instrument capable of displaying a measurement value in two different types of units side by side and capable of improving the visibility of the side-by-side display.SOLUTION: An instrument 1 comprises: a number plate 2 on which a main index portion 3 in which velocities are displayed in miles is provided; and a sub-display portion 12 disposed apart from the number plate 2 on a front surface of the number plate 2 and inside of the main index portion 3. The sub-display portion 12 includes an outer circumference concentric with the main index portion 3, and a sub-index portion 14 in which velocities are displayed in kilometers is provided on the outer circumference. The sub-index portion 14 includes a scale portion 16, and the scale portion 16 is constituted by a plurality of convex portions 161 extending radially outward from an outer circumferential edge 201 of the sub-display portion 12 in a projecting shape in a back surface direction. Each convex portion 161 is formed out of a light guide member. An LED is disposed on the back surface of the number plate 2, and light from the LED is supplied to the scale portion 16 via a light guide member provided in a support portion supporting the sub-display portion 12 and a light guide member provided in the sub-display portion, thereby illuminating the scale portion 16.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
