Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent degradation of lubricating performance due to dilution of lubricant caused through increment of the quantity of fuel, by making incremental correction of the quantity of lubricant to be metered corresponding to an incremental rate of fuel supply under an operating condition where incremental correction of fuel is made. CONSTITUTION:A rotary piston engine 1 is provided with port lubrication and direct lubrication nozzles 16, 17 respectively in an intake path 12 and the inner circumferential face 2a of a rotary housing 2, and a metering oil pump 20 is coupled to respective nozzles 16,, 17 through respective paths 18, 19. The pump 20 meters and delivers lubricant and the delivery quantity is controlled by a control unit 25 through a step motor 21 based on signals being fed from sensors 26-29 for detecting the operating condition of the engine 1. Here, a means for correcting the mixture ratio is provided to the control unit 25 in order to make an incremental correction of the quantity of lubricant to be metered corresponding too an incremental rate of fuel supply based on a fuel incremental rate and an asynchronous fuel injection.
