Abstract:
The unit has a dosing chamber (6), and a displacer body, which limits the dosing chamber and is displaced by a displacement drive such as drive motor (22) i.e. stepper motor. A control electronic (30) controls the displacement drive. The control electronic controls the drive in an operating state such that a stroke i.e. delivery stroke, is started with low stroke speed. Stroke speed is increased to higher stroke speed in course of the stroke. The control electronic is provided with a detection system to detect gas bubbles at the chamber. The detection system comprises a pressure sensor (34). An independent claim is also included for a method for controlling a displacement drive of a dosing pump unit.
