A (meth)acrylate resin is obtained by polymerizing a monomer mixture comprising a (meth)acrylate and an isothiocyanate ester having a radical-polymerizable functional group, such as allyl isothiocyanate. The monomer mixture may contain an unsaturated monomer other than the (meth)acrylate and the isothiocyanate ester and a polymer of an unsaturated monomer primarily comprising a (meth)acrylate.
