Abstract:
NEW MATERIAL: A (meth)acrylic acid ester having a macromonomer fluoroalkyl group represented by formula I (wherein R1 is H, F; R2 is H, methyl; a is 0-4; c is 2-4; b is 2-30 on an average; n is 4-12 on an average; m is 3-14 on an average).
EXAMPLE: α-methacryloyl-ω-perfluoroalkanol polyether urethane.
USE: A curable monomer for dentistry, a denture base material.
PREPARATION: A polyoxyalkylene monoether of formula II is reacted with an isocyante at 20-100°C, possibly in an inert solvent to an isocyanate group of formula III, possibly in the presence of a catalyst to obtain a compound of formula I.
