Abstract:
To provide a modified PMMA(polymethyl methacrylate) improved in heat resistance, water absorption, etc., without impairing both thermoplasticity and high transparency inherent in PMMA.
The methacrylic resin composition essentially comprises (A) methyl methacrylate and/or its syrup and (B) a compound of the general formula(1)[ wherein, one of R1 and R2 is a group of the general formula(2) or (3)( wherein, R3 to R5 are each H, methyl or ethyl ) and the other being H or methyl ].
