To provide a method for aligning a screw cap with thread with a neck part with complementary thread of a packaging container.SOLUTION: A method for aligning a screw cap with thread with a neck part with complementary thread of a packaging container includes the steps for: positioning a screw cap holder so that the screw cap holder faces a screw cap supply tool; receiving a screw cap from the screw cap supply tool into the screw cap holder; rotating the screw cap holder for engagement between an engagement part of the screw cap and a complementary engagement part of the screw cap supply tool; recording a position in a radial position of the screw cap holder; and releasing the engagement of the screw cap from the screw cap supply tool.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
