The present invention relates to polymer solution comprising a (meth)acrylic copolymer, a polymer-containing composition comprising the solution, and anti-fouling composition comprising the polymer-containing composition. The (meth)acrylic copolymer comprises a constitutional unit (A3) having at least one kind of structure represented by -COO-M-OCO or -COO-M-R³² (M represents Zn, Cu, Mg, or Ca and R³² represents an organic acid residue other than a (meth)acryloyloxy group) and a constitutional unit (B) derived from a macromonomer (b) which has a radically polymerizable group and two or more constitutional units represented by the following formula (b'):where, R⁴¹ represents a hydrogen atom, a methyl group, or CH₂OH and R⁴² represents OR⁴³, a halogen atom, COR⁴⁴, COOR⁴⁵, CN, CONR⁴⁶R⁴⁷, or R⁴⁸, where R⁴³ to R⁴⁷ each independently represent a hydrogen atom, an unsubstituted or substituted alkyl group, an unsubstituted or substituted alicyclic group, an unsubstituted or substituted aryl group, an unsubstituted or substituted heteroaryl group, an unsubstituted or substituted nonaromatic heterocyclic group, an unsubstituted or substituted aralkyl group, an unsubstituted or substituted alkaryl group, or an unsubstituted or substituted organosilyl group and R⁴⁸ represents an unsubstituted or substituted aryl group or an unsubstituted or substituted heteroaryl group.
