Abstract:

To provide an inexpensive and safe method for production without causing problems of pollution without requiring a special cooling apparatus by using a micro-reactor in the method for producing an organic compound by a halogen-lithium exchange reaction of a compound useful in the fields of medicines, agrochemicals, liquid crystals, electrophotographs, dyes, etc.

A halogen compound is reacted with a lithium reagent under conditions of -10 to 40°C reaction temperature and 0.001-10 s residence time by using the micro-reactor to produce a lithium compound represented by general formula (I) (wherein, the ring represented by A represents an aromatic ring, a saturated ring, a partially saturated ring or a heterocyclic ring). The resultant compound is continuously reacted with an electrophilic compound by subsequently using the micro-reactor to exchange the Li group for an electrophilic group.
