Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device which realize precise measurement of distances even when changes in a zoom or a focus state of an imaging apparatus causes differences in sensitivity between a plurality of photo-electric conversion parts in one pixel.SOLUTION: When the imaging apparatus includes a first pixel 110 with a first photo-electric conversion part 111 with a relatively high sensitivity and a second photo-electric conversion part 112 with a relatively low sensitivity, and a second pixel 120 with a third photo-electric conversion part 121 with a relatively high sensitivity and a fourth photo-electric conversion part 122 with a relatively low sensitivity, it makes the charge amount stored in the first and second photo-electric conversion parts per frame larger than the charge amount stored in the third and fourth photo-electric conversion parts per frame and uses signals acquired by the first to the fourth photo-electric conversion parts as distance measuring signals acquired by the first and second pixels for generating a measurement distance.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
