PURPOSE: To enable adhesion with improved airtightness by treating the inside surface of a rubber tube with a specific compd., fitting an insert mouthpiece into the tube thus treated with a curable adhesive interposed between the mouthpiece and the tube, mechanically tightening the fitted part, and curing the applied adhesive to integrate the mouthpiece with the tube.
CONSTITUTION: Adhesion with improved airtightness is obtd. by treating the inside surface of a rubber tube 4, into which an insert mouthpiece 1 will be fitted, with a pseudohalogen compd. (e.g. a halogenated isocyanate), fitting the mouthpiece 1 into the tube 4 with a curable liq. or pasty epoxy, urethane, or nylon resin adhesive 7 interposed between the mouthpiece 1 and the tube 4; tightening the fitted part; and curing the adhesive 7 to integrate the mouthpiece 1 with the tube 4.
