Abstract:
To provide a method of precisely adjusting the constituent of water-granulated slag by a simple means.
The method of adjusting the constituent of the water-granulated slag comprises: spraying cooling water to molten slag discharged from a blast furnace to quench the molten slag; pulverizing the quenched slag to produce the granulated slag; measuring the constituent of the granulated slag and comparing the measured concentration value of the compound with the preset aimed concentration value; and mixing the blast furnace pulverized material containing the compound with the granulated slag corresponding to difference in the concentration between the measured value and the aimed value.
