Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain an electric characteristic adjustment method for the branch line type reception branching device in which reflection attenuations of all channels are adjusted simultaneously.
CONSTITUTION: Each one terminal of plural channel filters 6a-6c is connected to a summing terminal 1. A 2nd port 4b of a circulator 4 constituting an isolator 2 is directly coupled with the summing terminal 1 by connecting an externally mounted terminator 5 to a 3rd port 4c. Measurement use terminators 8a-8c are connected respectively to each of branching terminals 7a-7c of the channel filters 6a-6c. A signal source 10 is connected to a 1st port 4a of the circulator 4. An externally mounted terminator 5 is removed from the 3rd port 4c of the circulator 4 to connect a network analyzer 11 to the 3rd port 4c. The reflection attenuation of the channel filters 6a-6c is adjusted while measuring the isolation of the circulator 4 in this state.
