Abstract:
To obtain an oscillated frequency adjustment method for an oscillator to facilitate the adjustment of the oscillated frequency and to provide an oscillator.
A dielectric strip 4 with a dielectric constant higher than that of a dielectric medium (3) in existence between metallic parallel plates (1), 2 is inserted between the metallic parallel plates (1), 2 and an oscillation element 5 is connected to one end of this dielectric strip 4 via a resonator 7 to adjust the oscillated frequency of the oscillator. In this case, a metallic plate 10 is placed by facing the resonator 7 and approaching or parting this metallic plate 10 to/from the resonator 7 changes a boundary condition of the resonator 7 to adjust the oscillated frequency.
