To enable the sure adjustment of components while surely grasping the change of each component by grouping each kind of steel, setting a component adjusting method and a component adjusting range in each group and deciding the kind and the quality of ferro-alloys charged into molten steel based on this settings.
A control unit is connected to a computer 1 for process control, process computer 2 for converter and ladle refining, component analyzer 3 and process computer 5 for degassing equipment with a network 4 for transmitting data. A digital control device 6 is connected to the process computer 5 for degassing equipment, and a sequencer 7 for weighting the ferro-alloys and a sequencer 8 for adding the ferro-alloys are connected to the digital control device 6. Various kinds of ferro-alloys are prepared in hoppers 18 for the ferro- alloys, and a prescribed quantity of the ferro-alloy is discharged from the prescribed hopper through each of ferro-alloy weighers 9. The discharged ferro-alloy is charged into a vacuum degassing vessel 11 through a ferro-alloying device 10.
