Abstract:
To analyze a primary metabolite using a liquid chromatograph mass spectroscope, without using a highly toxic reagent.SOLUTION: A method for analyzing a primary metabolite has a separation step of separating a primary metabolite in a biological sample by subjecting the biological sample to reversed-phase ion pair chromatography, and a mass spectrometry step of analyzing the separated primary metabolite with a mass spectroscope, where dipentylamine is used as an ion pair reagent in the reversed-phase ion pair chromatography.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
