To provide a method of anchoring a high-strength fiber composite tendon, for easily anchoring an arbitrary portion including an intermediate portion and an end portion of the high-strength fiber composite tendon, in the pretensioning work field or posttensioning work field without execution of work such as contact bonding.
According to the method, a wedge body 4 having a length L4 that is at least 10 times the outer diameter 1c of the high-strength fiber composite tendon 1 and having an anti-slip agent 2 bonded to an inner surface thereof, is pinched by a peripheral surface 1b of the arbitrary portion including the intermediate portion or the end portion of the high-strength fiber composite tendon 1, via a surrounding body 3 having a length 10 mm or more longer than that of the wedge body 4 and having a slit 3a formed therein. Then while pinching the surrounding body 3, the wedge body 4 is inserted into an anchoring sleeve 5 having the same length as that of the wedge body 4 in a manner protruding a front end 3c of the surrounding body 3 by at least 10 mm from a front opening 4c of the wedge body 4, and the arbitrary portion 1a of the high-strength fiber composite tendon 1 is anchored to an anchoring target area by wedging performance.
