Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the method for annealing a cold rolled stainless steel strip in which the formation of oxidized scales on a passing sheet material is prevented even if it is repeatedly used, the damage of a hearth roll in an annealing furnace is prevented and the generation of flaws on the surface of a product steel strip is prevented.
CONSTITUTION: The surface of the above sheet passing material is coated with an oxidation preventing agent by the coating weight of 5 to 60g/m2, which is thereafter subjected to annealing, is washed and is pickled.
