PURPOSE: To arrange the major and quick components (such as sensors and adjusting equipment) of a percussion machine when necessary without depending upon the percussion machine for ensuring operation and facilitating repair and using them in percussion machines of different constitution.
CONSTITUTION: An operation element works as follows so that adjustment is based on the continuous measurement of the striking rate Z or on the striking piston together with the quantity per unit time Qe of the hydraulic driving medium coming into a percussion machine 6. That is, the internal resistance of co-operated operation unit, that is, either a conveyance unit 3 or the percussion machine 6, changes. The internal resistance is increased due to an increase in at least one actual value in relation to the value set to an adjustable output characteristic value, by which a limit value Z0 or (Z/Q)0 including at least the striking rate is given beforehand. In this case, both of output characteristic values Z and Qe are measured from outside the percussion machine 6.
