Abstract:
To provide a method for the effective, stable anaerobic treatment of organic waste by eliminating the influence of ammonia and an apparatus for the method.
In the method, an ammonia removing agent is added to anaerobic sludge in an anaerobic treatment tank. It is preferable to control the injection of the ammonia removing agent by monitoring at least one of the pH, alkalinity, and ammonium ion concentration of the anaerobic sludge. A device for adding the ammonia removing agent into the anaerobic treatment tank, a device for controlling the injection of the ammonia removing agent, and the anaerobic treatment tank are provided.
