PURPOSE: To facilitate extraction and analysis of a bubble gas on the occasion of the analysis of the bubble gas of a metal material and others.

CONSTITUTION: This is a method for extracting and analyzing a bubble gas efficiently by condensing a laser light and applying it to the position of a bubble in a sample 5 set in a vacuum vessel 4. This method is executed by an apparatus for analysis which comprises a laser oscillator 1, the vacuum vessel 4, a mass analyzer 9 and an analytical data processing device 10. Checking-up of the position of the bubble is dispensed with, the analysis can be executed irrespective of the size of the sample, even for a small sample, for instance, and in addition, there is no possibility of contamination.
