To provide a method for determining the comprehensive thermal performance of a power generating turbine.
This is a method for determining the effect of the performance of individual components of a power generating equipment (100) on the comprehensive thermal performance of the equipment, including determining the effect of the performance of a selected component of the equipment on the comprehensive thermal performance of the equipment. The method comprises a step of (a) designing a first heat model (400) of the equipment using the data of a original specification for the equipment, (b) developing a second heat model (300) of the equipment using the measured data of the performance of each component of the equipment, and (c) replacing the designed performance data of the selected component of the first heat model with its measured performance data.
