Title:
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR ATOMIC ABSORPTION SPECTROMETRY OF PARTICLE FLOATING IN GAS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3198841
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To analyze online fine particles floating in a gas, e.g. particulate dust in exhaust gas, etc.
CONSTITUTION: A heating/dissolving/exciting part 1 of an atomic absorption spectrometer is accommodated in a vacuum container 2. The pressure of the vacuum container 2 is kept to be lower by a constant difference than the pressure of a 'system to be measured where a gas sample is present, so that the gas sample is introduced at a constant flow rate to an absorption part. Accordingly, settling of particles is avoided and accurate analyzing results can be promptly and continuously obtained.
