PURPOSE: To distribute blood samples for every inspection items automatically, by driving and controlling pipets, which are suspended from an endless belt as a pair, so that the pipets are stopped at a blood sucking position, at a blood delivery position, and at a washing position.

CONSTITUTION: Sample containers 11 and 11' are sent to a sample sucking position in synchronization with the intermittent driving of pipets 2 and 2', which are suspended from an endless belt as a pair. The amounts of blood samples are confirmed by a remaining-sample confirming device. The receipt numbers are read by number reading devices 16 and 16'. Then, one or both of the pipets 2 and 2' are inserted tinto the sample containers, and the blood samples are sucked by delivery pumps 12 and 12'. The pipets 2 and 2' are conveyed to blood distributing devices 20... and stopped. The required amounts of the blood samples are distributed to distributing containers 21...21'.... Thereafter, the pipets are conveyed to the blood-sample sucking position again through a washing device and a ventilating device.
